Progressive tooling is method widely used for the manufacturing of a wide range of parts and components. It is the method of incorporating various works like punching , coining , bending and several other methods to modify a raw material. All these operations are performed in a progressive press. As the name suggest it involves multiple operations on a raw metal in a progressive manner to transforms it in to a desired metal. The raw material is continuously fed from a spool and proceeds through different stamping stations. Certain functions are being carried out in each station until the process is completed.
